    Flexibility Yoga & Thai Herbal Ball Therapy
    Practice Yoga to stretch the Illiopsoas and Hamstrings & Gastrocnemius (Calves). Then partner up to massage the energetic channels on the legs and stretch.

    Femoral Wind Gate Release (From Thai Massage) Oxygenate your body and use breathing techniques to clean the nitrogen out of your legs.

    A flexibility workshop designed to help you safely increase your range of motion while building strength and body awareness. Through guided yoga sequences, mindful stretching, and breathwork, you’ll learn how to release tension and move more freely.

    This experience also includes elements of Thai massage, where you’ll explore assisted stretches and hands-on techniques to help you access deeper poses with support and ease. You’ll be guided on how to go deeper safely, using proper alignment, control, and trust—so your body feels open, balanced, and supported throughout the practice.

    Aerial and Acro Competition 2nd - Long Island 

     

    Acro and Aerial Members we are happy to present the first Silk/Hammock/Acro competition. This is the time to test out all your aerial moves on the apparatus of your choosing and compete against your peers and yourself. 

     

    For the competition please prepare the following.
    Costume approved by Teacher. No loose clothing/fabric and jewelries.
    Slick back hair to prevent entanglement and injury.
    Name of Music, Duration, and in mp3 format.
    Arrive by 7am for rehearsal.

    Levels Description

    Beginner: Shows a basic understanding of how to move through the air in their chosen apparatus. Can hold a few basic strength and flexibility poses. No drops are needed, however, performers can only perform single drops. 3 minute routine time limit.

    Intermediate: Shows confidence moving through the air in their chosen apparatus, can hold multiple strength/flexibility poses for a few seconds, shows a basic understanding and development of flow/transitions between moves. Single drops only. 3:30 minute time limit.

    Advanced: Shows confidence and stage presence in their chosen apparatus, can hold multiple strength/flexibility poses for a few seconds, can move/dance fluidly from pose to pose and trick to trick (transitions are flawless), shows an understanding of timing/musicality, routine should show a basic storyline/theme. Double drops are required and multidirectional drops allowed but not mandatory. 3:30 minute time limit.

    ELite: Pre-professional level. This is the stage where a performer should have their full strength and flexibility developed. They should show extreme confidence, stage presence, performance quality, and creativity. Performer’s choreography should not only show strength in holding poses and performer drops, but also creative ways of getting into and out of their tricks. Performers should show great knowledge of how to use their apparatus in creative ways. Performer not only has an understanding of timing/musicality but looks like they are dancing in the air to their music. Performers should have a full storyline and character development thought out with an appropriate costume to match their theme. A double drop or a multidirectional drop is required. 4:00 minute time limit.

    Professional: Performer is ready to audition for professional level circus companies and/or is at a teacher’s level position. Performers must either be approved by the judging committee in advance to be entered in this level or show at least 1 year of teaching experience. All requirements and details listed in Elite apply to this level. Performance needs to be approved by host studio. No time limit.
